Many Set sail with California’s Cannabis-Infused Boat excursions riders take advantage of their membership. By joining, you receive access to their fleet of five cannabis-infused boats for groups of up to 12 people.
You can book your experience online or by calling (800) 952-9512. Each trip lasts about an hour and includes a brief tour of the boat, an overview of the experiences offered, and questions and answers.
Setup and takedown takes about fifteen minutes, which is done by a staff member onsite. You do not need any special training, just enough time to get ready and set up for the trip.
What do I get?

Is this event legal?
As discussed earlier, California has legalized the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes. This event is considered a medical cannabis therapy, which refers to the process of using cannabis to help with pain and symptom relief.
This therapy is referred to as medical marijuana use because it is not intended as a treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (TPD), social anxiety disorder (SAD) or generalized anxiety Disorder (GAD).
However, due to its effectiveness and low side effects, many people find it useful as an adjunct to other treatments. Due to its legal status, this therapy does not require a prescription, but organizers ask that participants bring their own bottle of cannabis for use.
Does my ticket include food and drink?
If you decide to go on the cruise with alcoholic beverages, you will need to purchase them on board. There is no alcohol on the boat!
If you choose to eat, there are two options. You can order traditional food or we offer a cannabis-infused food and drinks menu.
Traditional foods include meats, grilled or fried veggies, and desserts like sweet potato fries or grilled chicken tenders. If you are a fan of cannabis-infused foods, you might want to take advantage of that!
The cannabis-infused food menu does not include marijuana products, however.
What happens if it rains?
If it rains during a cruise, you have two options. You can go back home or you can cruise along the beach!
If you choose the second option, you must evacuate to the boat as soon as possible. The boat will take you to a safe location where you can stay dry until another storm passes by.
The second option is so fun to do. Stay on the boat and dance in the water! There are so many places to go, just ask your guide what they recommend.
Dry ships can be found in Islands of Adventure and elsewhere, they are just a short walk away from the water.
Do I need a medical marijuana card?
If you are planning on taking a canna-cruise, you must have a medical marijuana card. This is not a requirement for entering the cruise port, but if you have a medical marijuana card, you can enter the port free of charge.
The cruise line requires that all visitors to their boat haves a valid medical marijuana card. This is not a requirement for entering the boat, but if you have a medical marijuana card, you will be allowed onto the boat free of charge.
The boat will issue you an administrative violation ticket if it finds your presence on the boat illegal even without a valid pot pass. Having a ticket will probably cost you nothing, however, so take that into account when deciding whether to go on the canna-cruise or not.
How much time do I have on the boat?
If you have limited time, you can save time by booking a canna-cruise set on the boat as soon as you book your ticket. You will need to show your Identification Card at the Boat Excursion counter to claim your cruise.
The boat trip takes about an hour and a half and costs P200 per person. You will also need to buy a drink included in your cruise ticket, so consider buying an alcoholic beverage if you are not a drinker.
If you have more time, you can take advantage of the canna-cruise set. You will get more explorement on what plants are legal in San Diego and how they work, who uses them, and where they grow them. You will also learn some Spanish names for them!
You can go aboard the ship at any point to take part in your tour.
