A celebrity endorsement does not have to be a famous person telling you about a great strain that they use, it can be a very casual mention by a more prominent individual who uses the same strain but finds benefits with it.

Celebrities have a platform to spread awareness about topics they feel are important, and cannabis is one of the more widely known drugs on the market. As someone who is not necessarily involved in drug use, having the attention of a famous person can help build confidence in ways that are not apparent at first.

When looking for an acceptable alternative to recreational drugs like cigarettes or coffee, there is no need to spend large amounts of money on new products. The effects of marijuana can be similar to those of traditional drugs, so there is no reason not to help treat certain symptoms.

Anna Faris

Faris is a licensed clinical counselor and founded the Is It Normal? series to help understand what normalizes gender norms around sex and age norms around sex.

She advocates for cannabis as a way to treat symptoms of pain, inflammation, and depression and as an effective part of mainstream medicine.

She also writes about her experiences using cannabis as a doctor and how it can be used for everything from treating pain to combating chronic fatigue.

She says there is still a lot of stigma surrounding marijuana, which she thinks should go away. She says if people are going to use it for medical purposes, they should be able to find an authorized provider who knows how to use it safely.

She also mentions that while she cannot recommend smoking cannabis, she does believe it is one way to enjoy it and how strong it can be.

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg is a prominent advocate for cannabis. He has spoken at multiple events around the country discussing his support for medical and recreational cannabis.

He advocates for the strains he uses, saying if they were available in dispensaries, he’d choose them.

His favorite is a hybrid called Charlotte’s Web that is named after the girl who died of possession after she was found with it in her hand.

The drug’s non-medical variety is named Dif-Free, as it does not prevent people from making changes to their habits such as smoking out of an vaporizer or consuming intranasally. These methods do not produce any smoke and are more discreet than taking a pill or drinking coffee with smoke involved.

Because of its reputation as a stronger drug, many people do not seek help when they use because they are looking for an edge or value difference. By having access to it, professionals can help people struggling with alcohol or illicit substances.

Amber Rose

Amber Rose is a longtime advocate for cannabis. She praises many strains, including indica, ruderalis, and sativa. She also mentions that she prefers the hybridized strains, such as CBD-richCharlip X High.

She recommends CBD-richCharlip X High for her due to its documented reduction of anxiety when used. Ruderalis is another strain she likes because of its ability to handle heavy rains well.

She also mentions that she enjoys trying different strains every few months to see what you like and what changes you feel. This way, you can continue to enjoy your same strain but with better conditions!

Celebrity Smokers who advocate for cannabis include President Barack Obama, celebrities Kim K., Mary J Blige, Billie Jean King, and Michael Jordan; former presidents George H.W. Bush and Barack Obama; and current presidents Donald Trump and Pence.

Dr. Dre

Dr. Dre is one of the most prominent figures in celebrity cannabis advocate, having appeared on The Simpsons and starred in a comedy movie about a medical marijuana patient.

He advocates for medicinal cannabis as a form of medicine, and has released several strains to promote himself and his community. His favorite strain is Harlequin, which is named after his daughter.

This strain is characterized by its white coat, blue skies theme, and the fact that it makes you sleepy after you smoke it. It also has the shortest half-life of any drug out there, making it hard to gauge how effective it will be.

However, he claims that after he uses it for medical issues, he feels more alert and energetic for hours afterwards. Celebrity Cannabis Dr. Dre Recommends: After being diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s, Dr. Dre used Harlequin to help fight stress.

Rihanna

Celebrity cannabis advocate Rihanna has been a fan of the plant for years. When she was in college, she took an interdisciplinary approach to studying drug use and addiction, but her biggest takeaway was that she wanted to know more about marijuana and drug policy due to her education and involvement.

She cites medical marijuana as an area where she sees progress, as well as a way to reduce the cost of treatment for people with severe illnesses. She also notes its potential as a supplement, both socially and economically, given its medicinal qualities.

Finally, she advocates for its legalization outright, saying it should be decided by little votes rather than big ones. She believes that if enough people vote for it, then Congress will eventually act upon it.

Rihanna recommends two strains: one that is known for its pain relief and one with less CBD (a nonpsychoactive component of cannabis). Both have made her feel very relaxed so she is confident in their effects.

Justin Theroux

Actor Justin Theroux is a big fan of cannabis and the strains he loves to smoke. He shares that his favorite strain is White Widow.

White Widow is a treat to smoke, with its gorgeous white powder and slight hints of chocolate and grapefruit. This strain is famous for its euphoric, buttery flavor and sativa nature that makes it mood changing rather than sleepinducing.

Its popularity lies in its rich history: In the 1970s, it was featured in the first TV ad for hashish, which depicted an adorable child smoking it for the first time. Since then, many have adopted it as their first drug of choice.

To this day, many young people continue to learn about this drug by trying it for the first time at a family gathering or via social media posts from new users.

Willie Nelson

Willie Nelson is a fan of the plant, and he advocates for its use. He says, “I think it’s great. I think it should be available.”

Willie Nelson is not alone in his cannabis advocacy. Actor Kevin Spacey is also a fan, and he credits cannabis with restoring his confidence after years of drug abuse.

Designer Jeremy Scott also supports cannabis, and he cites its power as a healer as proof. Developer Bill Gates supports hemp rather than marijuana, you guessed it, marijuana.

Celebrities are not the only ones who support cannabis. Many regular people do too, to help with pain management or for their own healing. Mark Zekas writes about this in his article “How I Cured My Cancer With Cannabis”.

Shania Twain

Shania Twain is a big fan of cannabis, and she advocates for Access to Cannabis in California (ACCI). At the same time, she also recognizes that it is still illegal everywhere.

As she says, “I support access to cannabis as an alternative to alcohol.” She adds that it can be a way to decompress after a long day at work. She also notes that there are ways to consume cannabis that do not involve smoking, which is nice!

There are many ways to get your hands on some ACCC. You can go online, you can visit a dispensary, you can even order online. You can even join clubs at the Chamber of Commerce if you want to learn more about how to use it.

All of these ways offer members benefits such as information and resources about how to use cannabis as an alternative method of relaxation.
