Hike the Muir Trail

The trail connects impressive viewpoints of the Angeles National Forest and is a popular hike. While not intended for beginners, anyone can hike the Muir as long as they are physically fit.

The trail runs up and down hills, through woods and open fields, and even crosses creeks! You never know when a log or wet spot will cause you to trip! Even though it can be done in a day or two, we suggest spending at least one day on the hike to get those sights and sounds.

It is also important to note that this hike is not for children due to its length and lack of fences or other protections.
