Nutty Professor Steve had some amazing accents to work with as the crazy Mad Queen, including an English accent, a South African accent, and an Australian accent. He was very lovely to play as he was so authentic to his character.
His Valley Lady counterpart is played by Amanda Tapping, who has a lovely British accent as well.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
There is a lot of interest in Star Wars these days, and for good reason.
The original trilogy was brilliant, and the prequel was a failure so let’s try something new! The Force Awakens was excellent, continuing the legacy of the series while also being a fresh start.
It introduced us to Finn, who is an interesting character who does not follow the norm for Star Wars characters. Then we have Kylo Ren, who is an interesting character on his own but becomes much more when you consider his history.
We also have Rey, who has no idea what she wants to do but wants to help people and find her place in the universe. These two meet up and link their stories together, which is a nice wrap up point.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
The first movie based on the Pirates of the Caribbean series was called The Curse of Black Pearl. It was released in 2003 and starred Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Penelope Cruz as his compadre, Widow Tweed.
In the movie, Jack Sparrow teams up with a mysterious woman known as Deadwood Depp to find ancient artifacts. Along the way, he must face off against his former partner, Will Scarlett, who is now a black-clad villain named Black Dave.
This movie was very popular back then, so Disney made a second one years later. The second movie was called The Curse of Black Blood Pearl. This one featured a young Will Scarlett in the lead role, making this one a prequel to this film.
